Just Meat Smoke and BBQ - Waltham Cross

"It was my first time visiting Just Meat Smoke & BBQ, and I’m not usually a fan of wings. However, they were highly recommended to me, so I decided to give them a try ~ it couldn’t hurt! I’m really glad I did because they were some of the tastiest, juiciest wings I’ve had in a very long time. The service was great and the atmosphere was lovely, which made the whole experience even better. Thank you so much for such a pleasant experience. Highly recommend!"

"If you like smoked meat you're in for a treat at "Just Meat Smoke and BBQ situated between Waltham Abbey and Waltham Cross. I just had a quick visit with a friend and wished we had longer as the platters that were being served looked fantastic! I posted this on Saturday 6th June 2026, so the prices on the menu in show are current on that day! I had a dry ages beef double cheeseburger wow! The smash burgers were perfectly cooked, slightly pink with good charring and lovely and juicy. The buns were obviously fresh with a lovely shine on top, they held up perfectly despite the juicy fillings the bottom stayed in perfect condition throughout. The service is good, the staff were friendly and attentive, the pitmasters know their job as is apparent from the food they produce. The seating area is small but will hold around 20 people, outside by the grill wagon is additional seating. The pitmasters were kept busy with delivery riders constantly coming and going. Parking is definitely a problem around the area, I only saw 2 parking spaces at the end of the side road next to the shop, both 30 minutes with no return within 2 hours! All the food is produced from a trailer just by the front door and brought into the seating area within seconds. I can't wait to return and get stuck into a platter the burnt ends looked fantastic!"

"This place is a gem. A place that I wish I could gatekeep. Great customer service. Lots of options on the menu. Amazing prices. We got 2 tomahawks. Which came with a coleslaw, baby potatoes and mushroom sauce. Tomahawk cooked to perfection. We also got 2 mojito mocktails. Total bill for 2 people £89.00. High recommended this place. They don't have a lot of seats. So you may have to wait a bit, but it's is pretty quick. Second visit. Had the ribeye steak (10/10), rack of chops (8/10), spicy garlic wings(8/10) and their loaded burger(7.5/10). Fantastic service."

A few things that stood out: Diverse Menu: From massive sharing platters to perfectly stacked burgers, there is something for every meat lover. They are 100% Halal and maintain top-tier hygiene standards. The shop is easy to find on Eleanor Cross Rd and offers wheelchair-accessible seating. It’s a great value spot (£10–20 range) for a high-quality meal."
